Jupiter Asset Management Limited (“Jupiter”) today confirms that, effective 25 October 2024, the UK-domiciled ‘Jupiter Global Value Equity’ unit trust (the “Fund”) will be managed by Brian McCormick and Alex Savvides. The Fund had total assets under management of £616m as at 30 September 2024.

On a day-to-day basis, Brian will act as the lead investment manager of the Fund, with support from Alex and his wider team. Brian has been lead investment manager of the Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV of the same global value strategy since 29 February 2024. Alex joined Jupiter on 7 October 2024 and is lead investment manager of the Jupiter UK Dynamic Equity unit trust.

In previous announcements and client updates, Jupiter had stated that it was considering whether it would be in the best interests of clients for the Fund to be sub-delegated to Ben Whitmore’s independent value equities boutique, once established. Having now considered client feedback, noting the strength of the investment expertise within Jupiter, and having also undertaken a thorough assessment of the boutique, it has been concluded by the Jupiter board that it is in the best interests of clients for the Fund to be managed by Brian and Alex.

Jupiter also confirms that Ben Whitmore will have left the firm as at 1 November 2024.
