Adhering to these standards means we recognise that we must operate in harmony with suppliers, not only to mitigate risk, but to build trust with our broader stakeholders.
Jupiter’s Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for our suppliers when working with Jupiter. We expect suppliers to adhere to the Supplier Code of Conduct as we believe that holding shared values and goals benefit our businesses, our people and our planet.
Legal & Regulatory
As a minimum, Jupiter expects that suppliers adhere at all times to all relevant legislation, regulations and regulatory guidance. We also expect suppliers to engage with their own supply chain to ensure that this minimum standard is met.
Social
Jupiter is committed to providing a healthy and safe work environment in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. As such, we have implemented a H&S management system to ensure compliance across our offices. We expect all suppliers to prioritise occupational health in their operations and to provide a safe and healthy work environment at their offices or work sites.
Jupiter’s development as a successful business has been driven by diversity of opinion and independent thinking. It is central to our investment approach as well as to our talent management and recruitment programmes.
We expect all of our suppliers to abide by relevant legislation and not to discriminate on any basis through their hiring or employment practices.

In February 2022, Jupiter became an accredited London Living Wage (LLW) employer. This means that we pay all of our UK staff the LLW and have in place procedures to ensure all employees of suppliers that deliver services to our London office are paid the LLW.
We expect suppliers to pay the LLW or equivalent local living wage to their employees and to promote the adoption of fair wages to persons through their
supply chains.
All suppliers must act with integrity at all times and comply with relevant legislation in relation to bribery and corruption. Jupiter does not tolerate bribery or corruption in any form.
Suppliers may not offer, directly or indirectly, anything of value to Jupiter employees that may give rise to an actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest. Where suppliers do have conflicts of interest of any kind with Jupiter, they are expected to make Jupiter aware of these at the earliest opportunity.
Sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of our business. We became signatories to the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative in 2021 and we report annually on progress towards minimising the environmental impacts of our operations and investments.
We expect our suppliers to have in place an environmental management system that enables measurement of:
- Greenhouse gas emissions
- Utilities, such as gas, electricity and water
- Waste sent to landfill
Jupiter also encourages suppliers to consider total product lifecycles and the circular economy in their business operations and supply chains.

Compliance & Measurement
Jupiter may upon reasonable notice ask suppliers to demonstrate compliance with this Supplier Code of Conduct from time to time.
As a condition of participation in a Jupiter tender process, suppliers may be required to provide acknowledgement of their adherence to the Supplier Code of Conduct. Adherence to the Supplier Code of Conduct may then be used along with other relevant criteria when selecting new suppliers or upon renewal of existing contracts.
Failure to comply with the Supplier Code of Conduct and, or local laws and regulation may result in the termination of your contract with Jupiter.
