Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR)

What are the Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR)?

The Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) has introduced a voluntary sustainability labelling regime for sustainable investment products in the UK. Sustainable investment labels help investors find products that have a specific sustainability goal.

SDR aims to increase transparency for sustainable investment products and ensure that funds marketed as sustainable do as they claim and have the evidence to back it up.

There are four labels that can be used, and there is no hierarchy between the labels:

  • Sustainability Focus
  • Sustainability Improvers
  • Sustainability Impact
  • Sustainability Mixed Goals

Further detail on the requirements for each sustainability label can be found on the FCA’s website: www.fca.org.uk/consumers/sustainable-investment-labels-greenwashing.

What labels has Jupiter adopted?

The Jupiter Ecology Fund has adopted a Sustainability Focus Label. This means it invests mainly in assets that focus on sustainability for people or the planet. Please see the Consumer Facing Disclosure, the Scheme Particulars and the Key Investor Information Document for more information.

Which funds have sustainability characteristics?

The Jupiter Global Leaders Fund (formerly known as the Jupiter Global Sustainable Equities Fund) is not changing its investment objective or approach and therefore has decided not to adopt a label under SDR. Please see the Consumer Facing Disclosure, the Scheme Particulars and the Key Investor Information Document for more information.

The Jupiter Green Investment Trust has sustainability characteristics but has decided not to adopt a label under SDR. Please see the Consumer Facing Disclosure, the AIFMD and the Key Information Document for more information.
