What we do

Jupiter is a specialist, high conviction, active asset manager. We exist to help our clients achieve their long-term investment objectives. From our origins in 1985, Jupiter now offers a range of actively managed strategies available to UK and international clients including equities, fixed income, multi-asset and alternatives. Jupiter is a constituent member of the FTSE 250 Index.
Independence of thought and individual accountability define us. Our fund managers follow their convictions and seek those investment opportunities that they believe will ensure the best outcome for our clients. They do this through fundamental analysis and research, a clear investment process and risk management framework, with a focus on good stewardship.

Application Form
Candidates are required to complete a formal application form on our website to provide details of educational background, work experience, and answer a few questions to help us assess their motivation and requirements.
Screening & Interviews
The initial screening will be conducted by a recruiter who will review and share shortlisted resumes to the hiring manager. Successful candidates will be invited to a first round interview. Alternatively, we might ask you to complete an online test or assessment in order to help assess your skills.
Interviewees who we wish to progress to next steps following first round will be directly notified by the recruitment team to arrange subsequent stages. Where possible we will always try to include a face-to-face stage in the process to ensure you get to meet us in person and get a feel for our offices.

Overview
- A two-year fixed term contract with the potential to convert into a permanent role.
- Our Investment 20/20 roles are thoughtfully designed as Traineeships or Apprenticeships to suit your career aspirations.
- A rotational program within a single department, aimed at providing a thorough understanding of your role throughout the two-year span.
- Our program is designed to give you the skills and experiences to help you secure permanent work either at Jupiter or elsewhere in the industry.
- Specifically designed for driven school/college leavers or recent university graduates.
- Opportunities available across various departments within the business.
- On-the-job training plus additional learning and development opportunities. Apprentices will spend 20% of their time studying towards a formal qualification.

Previous Intakes
Jupiter is proud to have been one of the pioneering firms to participate in Investment 20/20. Since 2013, we have recruited 38 Trainees/Apprentices in a variety of roles across the Company. These opportunities have included roles in Compliance, Finance, Fund Management, Human Resources, Operations, Risk, Sales and Technology. The Recruitment Process
Application Form
All candidates will be required to complete a formal application form on our website to provide details of educational background, work experience, and extracurricular activities.
Phase 1: Cognitive Assessment
To ensure a fair and data-driven selection process, we invite candidates to complete an online cognitive assessment.
This will focus on your ability to perform in core skills including, numerical reasoning, deductive reasoning and motivation.
Phase 2: Video Interview
Successful candidates will be invited to complete a short video interview that will focus on a mixture of technical and competency based questions.
Phase 3: In-Person Interviews
As a final step, successful candidates will be invited to in person interviews. These interviews will be conducted by members of the team from the department you are applying to. Candidates will receive a designated interview time slot in advance.
